This week, we took a trip to Los Angeles, which was an amazing experience. Seeing the Hollywood sign up close and spending time at Santa Monica Beach were highlights of the trip. LA’s vibrant energy and beautiful landscapes left a lasting impression on me, and I’m certain I’ll return to explore more of the city in the future.

This week, I delved into two new courses at the lab: video production with Tommy and Hashim and CNC with Santi. Video production was a useful addition to my skill set, but the CNC course was particularly enlightening as it was a completely new field for me. Santi's instruction helped me get a solid grasp on CNC processes, which will be valuable for future projects.

The hands-on approach to learning at DASL stood out to me this week. The opportunity to engage directly with new technologies and tools, like CNC machines and video production equipment, emphasizes the lab’s commitment to practical, experiential learning. This approach contrasts with more theoretical or lecture-based methods I’ve encountered before.

I continued working on the F1TENTH project, focusing on LIDAR configuration. This task is crucial for enhancing the project's capabilities.. Balancing this with the new courses helped me develop a well-rounded skill set, contributing to both my personal growth and technical expertise.
